A Job To Do
I have work to do - I cannot be concerned of the time
I have left or if I will ever get through.
As long as I have breath
I will give thanks for every day - the good and the bad -
and the lessons I learn each day.
I cannot yearn for more tomorrows,
only for the most out of each day.
For time is measured by the good we do
and the kindness we show along the way.
