The Young Volunteers Of The Peasants Cottage
There is yet no pic of Caleb to show here. The kids had made a beautiful album with pictures and thoughts about their experiences at what they call "The Happy Place Farm". I am in the process of scanning in this album so I can present it as a slide show. I still must manipulate each picture of the kids so I can show their photo here as well. I can say that Caleb, along with the others listed literally brought this place back to life. When Phil was not able to rebuild again after the fire, these young people came over in their own time and without ever being asked and cleaned up the ruins of the fire. After that, they rebuild shelters for the animals, taking an interest in them. Caleb liked to play with and tease Breezy - our 'house goat' - and boy has he created a monster out of her! He made a game with her I call "butt head" and now she thinks EVERYONE wants to play her game of head-butting! Caleb has grown from a boy into a fine young man and we are as proud of him as I know his parent must be. As proud as they are of all their children -for Cheryl and John Dyer raised 6 children and everyone of them have turned to be the finest young adults. This posting here is just an intro, for each deserves their own page. They gave life not only to this farm, but to Phil and love Phil and much as he loves them. They love the animals and they return that love. By all that counts, this place is theirs and the story of the rise of this farm and of helping Phil to realize his goals if the story of these young people. If you ever doubted the future of our youth - their ethics, their character, you have to look to further than these featured here.
